Girlfriend After I Take My Meds
my girlfriend as soon as I take my meds:
A woman sits beside Ryan Gosling’s character in a dark car, then the medicine bottle appears and she vanishes, leaving him staring at the empty seat. The joke treats taking medication as if it makes his girlfriend disappear, using a dramatic scene from Blade Runner 2049. The clip is set to Mareux’s darkwave song “The Perfect Girl,” whose melancholic mood makes the reaction feel extra bleak and absurd.
