My wife says infertility is my fault
me (23M) and my wife (39F) have been trying for a baby for 3 years with no luck. She says it’s my fault My wife (39F) and I (23M) have been married for 4 years now. We’ve always wanted kids and decided to start trying not long after we got married. It’s been 3 years and nothing. I’ve seen a urologist, had my sperm tested twice, all normal. I’m healthy, active, eat well, don’t smoke, etc. Doctors say everything on my end looks fine. My wife is transgender (post-op) and 39. I know age can be a factor, but every time I bring it up she shuts down and says it’s not about age, it’s about me. She won’t get any fertility testing done and refuses to even talk to a doctor about it. Instead, she just gets angry and says I must be doing something wrong or that I’m “not trying hard enough.” We fight about this all the time. I love her and I want a family with her, but I don’t know how much more of this I can take. I feel like no matter what I do, it’s never enough. What can I even do in this situation?
A young man describes trying to have a baby with his older transgender wife for three years without success. His tests are normal, but his wife refuses fertility testing and blames him, creating constant conflict. The joke comes from the obvious biological impossibility of the situation: a post-op transgender woman cannot become pregnant, so the blame is absurd and the post is likely bait or dark humor.
