Text on the meme
UI If I dare to use inline styles at my workplace, the PR will be rejected, all GitHub access/tokens revoked, and when reaching out to my manager I’ll realize Slack has blocked me out. Soon later my phone will ring. It’s HR, telling me they need my services no more, that they are mailing a FedEx box so I can safely return the computer (they’ll also encourage me to return all merch/company swag I may possibly have) and to refrain from contacting them in future, ever again. My coworkers/teammates won’t appear on my LinkedIn anymore and when asking for recommendations, I’ll be told “it’s not company policy to give these for former employees”. When texting who I thought was my closest work-friend, the messages bounced... I been blocked. Therefore, I am very careful not to use inline styles in my PRs
What it means

A small illustration accompanies a long text describing an absurdly severe workplace punishment for using inline CSS styles. The joke exaggerates developer and corporate fears: a rejected pull request supposedly leads to revoked GitHub access, being blocked by coworkers, dismissal by HR, and returning company equipment and merchandise. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to debates about coding style and overly rigid engineering rules.
