Ubuntu Developer Uses Windows 11
I had been using Ubuntu for 10 years. Last year, I applied to Canonical for a job to develop Ubuntu itself in Rust. Before the interview, they asked me to write a 20-page essay about my life, aspirations, philosophy and whatnot. Anyway, this is my desktop now.
A tweet describes a longtime Ubuntu user applying to Canonical, only to show a Windows 11 desktop afterward. The joke is that the overly demanding interview process pushed him toward using Windows instead of Ubuntu. It is shared as a sarcastic reaction to frustrating hiring processes and Linux-versus-Windows jokes.
