Dad I Hate Potatoes
„dad I’m trans” „dad I’m lesbian” „dad I’m a furry” „dad I hate potatoes”
A seated young man casually reads out increasingly unexpected statements to his dad, cutting to a black-and-white reaction clip of a muscular man becoming shocked, confused, and distressed. The punchline is that “I hate potatoes” is treated as more unacceptable than the preceding identity revelations, turning a family-confession format into an absurd reaction meme. The clip uses YoungGus Never Broke Again & DapTrap’s “Whats Gonna Happen,” whose music and escalating squish-like sound effects amplify the dramatic overreaction.
