French Girl Says Sweet Boy
Curious why a french girl I've been talking to keeps calling me "sweet boy" in english Vocabulary / word usage I've been talking to a french girl recently almost exclusively in english and she always calls me "sweet boy", I was wondering if it was something common to say in french that she's just translated to english. Sorry if this is too basic I'm just curious if it's a culture thing or if she likes me
A Reddit screenshot shows someone asking why a French girl they have been speaking with in English repeatedly calls them “sweet boy.” The joke is the uncertainty over whether it is a normal French expression translated literally or a sign that she is romantically interested.
