The Double Agent Sandbox
You can't really link to source code as proof the program is safe when you distribute it as a binary. I ran it in a sandbox and decompiled it, the binary is safe. Yeah but how can I trust you, what if you're a double agent I ran him in a sandbox, he's safe.
A dark-mode Reddit comment thread discusses whether a binary program is safe. Each attempt to establish trust is met with further suspicion, until the final commenter humorously treats the doubter as an executable and runs him in a sandbox. The joke uses software security language to parody paranoid reasoning and endless verification.
