Jurassic Park Engineering Warning
Well, it took 29 years, but I finally watched the original Jurassic Park, a cautionary tale about understaffing your engineering department and letting people push code directly to prod.
A tweet jokes that the original Jurassic Park is really a warning about understaffing an engineering department and allowing code to be pushed directly to production. The dinosaur disaster is reframed as a software engineering and DevOps failure, making this useful as a reaction to risky releases or poor team practices.
