Correlation Does Not Imply Causation
I USED TO THINK CORRELATION IMPLIED CAUSATION. THEN I TOOK A STATISTICS CLASS. NOW I DON'T. SOUNDS LIKE THE CLASS HELPED. WELL, MAYBE.
A three-panel stick-figure comic shows one person explaining that they once believed correlation implied causation, then changed their mind after taking a statistics class. Another person points out that the class itself may have caused the change, creating a self-referential example of correlation versus causation. It is used as a clever reaction to questionable causal claims or ironic coincidences.
