Manager Misreads Burndown Chart
Look at how productive my team is, chart go up! Manager Developer Sir, this is a burndown chart
A manager proudly points to a chart where the red line rises while the gray line falls, claiming his team is productive. The developer explains that it is actually a burndown chart, so the rising red line means the team is doing worse rather than better; the meme mocks managerial misunderstanding of software metrics.
