Build Your Own Processor
Everyone telling you to do it in x86 assembly is giving you a shortcut. If you want true freedom in development, you need to create your own processor architecture and instruction set. That way your game can take advantage of custom processor instructions. I also recommend mining the silicon and fabbing the processor yourself as it builds character.
A dark-mode social media post humorously advises game developers to reject x86 assembly shortcuts by designing and manufacturing their own processor, including mining the silicon. The escalating absurdity mocks extreme programmer overengineering and the idea of pursuing “true freedom” at wildly impractical costs.
