EA Deletes Sims 3 DLC

EA support. All of my DLCs for Sims 3 disappeared after not playing it for a few years. EA support advises that DLCs get deleted after a time and you have to buy them again if you want to play them... [Rule 1 - Customer Support Post] As I checked the base game remains in the account but the DLCs not as its sunset game. so my dlcs got deleted because the game is not getting any further dlcs or content? then why is it still possible to buy all those dcs? theyre still available in the shop? if i buy them again, how do i know they wont be deleted again and then i have to buy them another time? i want to play the game but i cant keep buying the same dlcs over and over again Yes they are available still because in the case of DLCs after a time its get deleted and you have to buy it again. I do understand But in this case there is no option from our end to provide a digital code otherwise I would have granted you a digital code from my end. so how long do the dlcs last? if i buy them now, how long will i have them before i have to buy them a third time? I would request you to please contact the shop from where you had made the purchase.

A Reddit post shows a gamer arguing with EA support after all of their Sims 3 DLC supposedly disappeared from their account. EA says the DLC must be bought again, while the customer keeps asking how long the replacement will last and whether they will have to pay a third time. The joke is the absurdity of a company treating permanently purchased digital content as temporary and repeatedly charging for it.
