A humorous database alignment chart arranges examples by how strictly they must contain digital data and how they can be queried. PostgreSQL and Excel are conventional databases, while libraries, senior engineers, battleships, and refrigerators push the definition into absurd territory. The meme is used as a reaction to broad or playful interpretations of what counts as a database.
