Stop Doing LaTeX Meme

STOP DOING LATEX • SYMBOLS WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SET • YEARS OF WRITING yet NO REAL-WORLD USE FOUND for using more letters than in the LATIN ALPHABET • Wanted to use more symbols for a laugh? We had a tool for that: It was called "HANDWRITING" • "Yes please set that as SUBSCRIPT. Please put that in TABULAR environment" – Statements dreamed up by the utterly Deranged LOOK at what Typesetters have been demanding your Respect for all this time, with all the typewriters and office programs we have built for them (This is REAL TeX code, done by real typesetters): \begin{equation}\label{eq:green} \iint_D \left(\frac{\partial g}{\partial x}(x,y) - \frac{\partial f}{\partial y}(x,y)\right)\mathrm{d}x - \oint_{\partial C}\left(f(x,y)\mathrm{d}x + g(x,y)\mathrm{d}y\right) \end{equation} ?????? \begin{tikzpicture}[>=latex'] \node (v) at (0,0) {$v$}; \foreach \a [count=\i] in {0, 45, 90, 135, 180} \node (v\i) at (\a:1) {$v_{\i}$}; \draw[->] (v) -- (v\1); \end{tikzpicture} ???????? \makeatletter \newcommand{\shifttxt}[2]{ \hbox{\textpmdial{#1} \makebox[\@tempdima]{\hspace{#2}} } ??????? \makeatother Real people claim this would be better than this -> They have played us for absolute fools
